If you connect directly to the desktop, it must stay on and reachable. A shared server gives you a separate place to run the work and needs to be reachable from your phone.
Can I use it away from the office?
Yes, when you connect to a Catamorphic server reachable from your phone. Pairing directly to your desktop is a local-network connection, not automatic remote access.
Is it a separate mobile app?
It is a mobile web app that runs in your phone's browser. It connects to your desktop or server; it is not a standalone AI service or an App Store download.
